Marco Polo, the greatest of all travelers of the middle ages, journeyed from Venice, Italy to Peking, China. The expedition took him over three years, during which time he encountered Holy wars, treacherous storms and tortuorus desert winds. But in the end, he found the finest of treasures and foodstuffs, including rice and noodles. More imporatantly he discovered the Chinese' method of die presses used to rapidly shape and dry their egg cereal and grain mixture.
Pasta and noodle are essentially neutral in taste and, therefore, are perfect conduits for carrying a myriad of flavors to the mouth.
At Marco Polo Italian Eatery, we follow this very tradition of freshly pressing our own pasta. As a result, we are able to offer delicious pastas for your enjoyment.
